Time to Wine Online
Time to Wine came about after the owner Melanie Voyce had spent years attending the Maryland Wine Festival. The Wine Festival was her first introduction to the "world of wine". She enjoyed going around to many of the local wineries at the festival and sampling their various wines. It was after the Wine Festival that Melanie decided that she wanted to host her own wine tasting party for family and friends. She had no idea how to start, but once the invitations were mailed we knew we only had a few weeks to figure it all out. The year was 2002 when she held her first Time to Wine wine-tasting party. She didn't know what her friends would think, because they, like her were not really wine drinkers. She wanted to do something fun and different, but we didn't want to make it overwhelming or intimidating – hence Time to Wine!
